About The Position

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to plan, coordinate, and supervise commercial electrical installations. This is a Working Foreman role, leading journeymen and apprentices while ensuring all work meets NEC standards, productivity goals, and project deadlines. The ideal candidate is a skilled electrician with a California Journeyman Electrician license and experience in retail electrical construction.

Requirements

Six or more years of experience as a commercial electrical journeyman with a minimum of two years of foreman experience preferably from retail construction projects
Above average troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Valid driver license with the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and a motor vehicle background check
Strong English literacy skills are required to effectively communicate with management via email, phone
Must be available to work nights or travel as needed
California Journeyman Electrician license

Nice To Haves

Experience with refrigeration motor control, Ansul Systems and EMS is preferred
Knowledge of retail new construction and/or retail tenant improvement projects is desired

Responsibilities

Supervise the commercial production of electrical journeyman and apprentices
Interpret blueprints, schematics or plans and layout work for journeyman and apprentices
Perform tool-box talks and training to electrical apprentices and/or journeyman
Install commercial electrical equipment and fixtures
Install various types of conduit, raceway and cable tray systems
Troubleshoot motor control systems
Communicate with project managers and safety teams regarding jobsite progress
Demonstrate and enforce quality electrical journeyman installation and jobsite safety
