This role involves managing the electrical team from job start to completion, overseeing the installation of whole home generators and panels, contract management, quality control, identifying training opportunities, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations. Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Electrical Supervisor
- Nextstar trained on service system
- Advanced experience in-depth knowledge of commercial and residential electrical including high voltage
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Familiarity with state electrical and safety (NEC) codes
- Experience working with inspectors to finalize permit requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail orientated with a focus on quality workmanship
- Able to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Clean background and MVD record
- Willingness to travel from Sarasota to Naples
Responsibilities
- Manage the electrical team from job start to completion.
- Oversee the installation of whole home generators and panels.
- Manage contracts.
- Ensure quality control.
- Identify training opportunities to further educate staff.
- Maintain compliance with electrical codes and adhere to safety regulations.
- Review, read and interpret design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
- Design and implement work schedules for the electrical staff.
- Provide motivation and assistance when necessary.
- Inspect and assess the work done by the electrical staff.
- Troubleshoot major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure work is completed on schedule and to code.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Manage the Electrical material and tool/equipment inventory based on the need of the department.
- Manage productivity, overtime and material costs.
