About The Position

Supports field execution of cable tray installation, cable pulling, cable terminations, identification, and testing activities across the project. Responsible for technical coordination, quantity tracking, inspection support, turnover documentation, and ensuring cable systems are installed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and energization requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
Experience with industrial cable installation projects
Strong understanding of cable tray systems, cable pulling, and terminations
Experience with cable testing, identification, and QA/QC requirements
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, cable schedules, and routing layouts
Experience with quantity tracking and field reporting
Familiarity with electrical inspections, testing, and turnover requirements
Strong coordination and field problem-solving skills
Experience managing RFIs, redlines, and as-built documentation

Nice To Haves

Industrial or power generation project experience preferred
Familiarity with energization and commissioning activities preferred
Industrial or power project experience preferred
Familiarity with civil and underground utility interfaces preferred
Industrial or power project experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provides knowledge and expertise in a particular discipline, subject matter, or specialized process required for construction (e.g., tunnel boring, site de-watering, glove boxes, special coatings systems, HVAC systems, Fire Detection and Suppression, reactor tender gallery coordinator, etc.)
Provides technical consultation support to projects.
Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
Leads preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of "as built" drawings and other job plans.
Initiates requisitions for field purchases.
Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.
Leads the verification of commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.
Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities
Reviews and approves inspection test plans
