About The Position

Allegiance Industries is expanding and looking for an experienced and detailed-oriented Corporate Electrical Estimator to join our Electrical Division. This position will support multiple divisions throughout the Carolinas and can be based in Bladenboro, NC, LaGrange, NC, or Greenville, SC. The company provides turnkey electrical solutions from Design Build to Firm Fixed Price for customers ranging from the Federal Government to the Private Sector, utilizing state-of-the-art estimating software for accurate bids.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of estimating experience
• Electrical license or equivalent experience
• Able to work with and adapt to multiple Estimating Software programs
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems
• Ability to read and evaluate specifications and blueprints
• Ability to deal effectively with customers
• Ability to analyze risks involved with certain project types
• Ability to estimate large and small projects
• Ability to work calmly under deadlines and external pressure
• Excellent math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong computer skills and a competent understanding of all types of operating systems

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Develops accurate cost estimates from take-off to bid hand-off.
• Analyzes material and labor requirements to complete a project, including onsite evaluations of jobsites to ensure accuracy.
• Attends pre-bid and scope review meetings.
• Computes and submits bids and performs bid reviews with Corporate Team members.
• Conducts meetings with engineers, customers, vendors, and project managers.
• Contacts vendors for competitive firm pricing.
• Analyzes the cost impacts of various equipment solutions.
• Maintains change order submissions/documents in an organized and standardized manner.
• Creates submittals based on specifications for each project, while working with team members to disseminate collective information.
• Works with DOEO, Division Managers, and Project Managers on qualifying bids.
• Keeps an active bid tab and assists in business development based on current trends.
• Assists the Project Management Team in Project Closeout and Customer Satisfaction.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
