Your role Review and process the power connection requests from residential and industrial/commercial customers. Assist Engineers to develop plan and profile drawings of Overhead lines and installation details of underground Cables for Primary and Secondary parts of distribution network in coordination with engineers. Perform simple estimates using data from the utility material database. Work closely with peers and other discipline designers to ensure accurate delivery that will meet utility. Standards, industry standards and meet good engineering practices, policies and procedures. Maintain good working relationship with internal groups that support the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized University.
• Experience in the field of Electrical Distribution network and interaction/participation in technical discussions with the customers
• Good written and verbal communication skill.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Toronto Hydro Engineering and Construction Standards will be an asset.
• Reasonable proficiency in AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, ProjectWise and Electronic Document Management Systems is an asset.
