RCT Systems, Power Systems Division, is seeking Electrical Engineering interns to join our team for the summer and/or regular semester co-op. Engineering interns will perform in one or more of several different areas including: Develop HMIs/GUIs for operation and testing of power converters. Detailed PCB design including system control PCBs and support hardware. Design and test embedded control algorithms for DSPs, FPGAs, and PLC controllers. Develop Controller-Hardware-in-the-Loop (CHIL) test setups, control cards, and control algorithms using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) real-time simulators. Design and debug electrical simulation models used to derisk test setups. Testing of magnetic components (inductors, transformers). Develop test plans and procedures for systems nearing design completion. Analyze collected test data and develop reports and presentations. RCT Systems PSD produces high power density, wide bandgap semiconductor-based power converters for military and commercial applications. The internship/co-op is in-person only (no remote work), and located at our offices in Baltimore, MD.
