Requirements

Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program.
Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.
Comfortable working with engineering software, data analysis tools, and technical documentation.
Interest in power systems and industrial applications.
Ability to analyze technical problems, support troubleshooting efforts, and contribute to engineering projects in a team environment.
Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to balance both fieldwork and office-based tasks.
Enrolled in an ABET-accredited BS Engineering degree.
Valid Alaska driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

Support power generation projects by assisting with system troubleshooting, electrical design documentation, and equipment inspections.
Analyze technical issues, gather field data, and contribute to engineering studies such as efficiency improvements and system performance.
Assist with project research, preliminary designs, and system analysis (voltage, fault, coordination) while working alongside engineers and plant staff.
Perform a mix of hands-on fieldwork and office-based engineering support in an industrial plant environment.
