Internship - Electrical Engineering
About The Position
The Electrical Engineering Intern works on a variety of project types, gaining insight into the profession, collaborative teamwork, and serving client needs. Interns receive hands-on experience on actual client projects, where their contributions directly impact Shive-Hattery and the community. They are treated as full-time staff members and have access to learning and growth opportunities. Each intern is paired with a mid-to-senior-level employee for informal one-on-one mentoring, supporting discussion of career goals and aspirations and complementing academic learning with professional development.
Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of electrical engineering project types.
- Contribute to actual client projects that impact Shive-Hattery and the community.
- Collaborate with others and help serve client needs.
- Participate in a one-on-one mentoring relationship to support professional development.
