About The Position

In the role of Electrical Intern, we'll count on you to assist the Electrical Engineering team with electrical site designs, lighting & receptacle floor plans, one-line diagrams, and electrical details & schedules. You will also assist with the preparation of specifications and selection of electrical equipment, apply standard engineering techniques and procedures, and perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. Other duties as needed will also be part of the role.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Attention to detail
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
• Interest in electrical engineering related to building design and construction.
• Preference given to local candidates
