About The Position

Leidos’ Defense Systems Rapid Integration and Prototyping Department is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team. You will get the opportunity to help design and document important technologies for our customers with support from a great team willing to mentor and assist you through the process. Your work directly impacts national defense by enhancing and providing situational awareness for service members in varied environments around the world. Leidos Defense Systems Sector provides a diverse portfolio of systems, solutions, and services covering land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace for customers worldwide. Solutions for Defense include enterprise and mission IT, large-scale intelligence systems, command and control, geospatial and data analytics, cybersecurity, logistics, training, and intelligence analysis and operations support. Requirements

• Enrolled in BS degree in Engineering at Junior or Senior level.
• Must be US Citizen and able to obtain and/or maintain a Secret clearance.
• 0+ years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Designing and working within multi-discipline teams to develop hardware for our customers.
• Producing technical data packages including part drawings, assembly drawings, source control documents, and interface control documents per ASME Y14.
