Hemlock Semiconductor Operations is seeking Electrical Engineering students for summer internship positions at our manufacturing facility in Hemlock, Michigan. Interns are assigned challenging projects that provide hands-on, practical work experience that is aligned to the student’s current level of coursework and skills. These projects support improvements in: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Sustainability, Cost.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Pursue a certificate or degree in a similar field of study
Minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale
Must be full-time student (12 or more credits) during fall and winter semesters
Must be able to work full time during the duration of the summer internship
Must be within driving distance to the site and have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Assist Reliability engineers with supporting our manufacturing teams by executing projects that increase process reliability and online time.
Assist Process Engineers with developing new technology and providing support to manufacturing to solve problems and implement improvements.
Assist Project engineers with supporting our manufacturing teams by executing projects that increase process capacity, capability, safety and efficiency.
