About The Position

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to: Gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering Support the PARCS, BWXT, and IRAD efforts

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Basic understanding of Nuclear Power Systems
General knowledge of machinery- lathe, welding, bandsaw, milling machine wiring, circuitry, etc.
U.S. Citizen
At least 18 years old
Actively enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited educational institution
In good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the internship

Responsibilities

Assist with technical tasks related to electrical engineering
Provide support including Nuclear Transportation of Small Mobile Reactors, Over the Road Test Articles, Nuclear Sensors and Instrumentation
Provide support in Test and Evaluation as it pertains to Nuclear Transportation, Nuclear Instrumentation, and Site Layout for Nuclear Power Systems
Assist in Programmatic Documentation for Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Power Systems
