About The Position

Kimley-Horn is looking for Electrical Engineering students to join our Transit Team in the Seattle, Washington (WA) office. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities include utilizing technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients, solving complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating across disciplines. The intern will develop familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, and support the Electrical Transit team with light rail design projects.

Requirements

  • In the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters)

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
  • Support our Electrical Transit team with light rail design projects.
