About The Position

We create high-quality STEM training data for frontier AI models. Our data is used directly in training and evaluation pipelines at leading AI labs to improve model reasoning in technical domains. We are looking for experts in Electrical Engineering to design rigorous, deterministic problems that are genuinely challenging for state-of-the-art AI systems. Each problem must have exactly one verifiable correct answer and be submitted together with a complete, verified solution.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
• Strong research or industry experience in electrical systems, electronics, signal processing, controls, communications, or power engineering
• Strong mathematical and computational problem-solving skills
• Solid grasp of circuit analysis, modeling, numerical methods, and engineering fundamentals
• Ability to design original, difficult problems that mirror real electrical engineering workflows
• Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, LTspice, PSpice, PSCAD, LabVIEW, or similar tools
• Background in control theory, digital signal processing, power electronics, RF systems, or embedded systems
• Experience evaluating model reasoning, developing benchmarks, or creating technical assessments

Responsibilities

• Design advanced electrical engineering problems for frontier AI training and evaluation
• Create deterministic problems with exactly one correct answer
• Write complete, verified solutions and clearly document the reasoning process
• Develop problems involving circuits, electronics, signal processing, control systems, electromagnetics, power systems, or communications
• Create problems that require multi-step quantitative reasoning and engineering judgment
• Use Python, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, or specialized engineering software to validate solutions where relevant
• Ensure all outputs are technically precise, reproducible, and well-written in English
