About The Position

Trane Technologies Co-Op Program provides current college students with meaningful assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our Co-Op program is offered to students pursuing a degree in Engineering from concentrations such as Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace and more. Co-ops will operate full-time from January to August or May to December as we work with your University towards Academic Credit for your work. Here at Trane Technologies, we value our people and their development. Our goal is to uplift talent and provide options for career paths after graduation.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related major with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
  • Must be available to work Full-time for 6-8 consecutive months (January-August or May-December)
  • Views problems as opportunities and can adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances.
  • Eagerly and proactively seek new information, skills, and experiences, capitalizing on learning opportunities.
  • Works effectively with others to coordinate efforts and produce results in a positive work environment.

  • Willing to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States
  • U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Use product electrical schematics to assess opportunities for product optimizations, troubleshooting, and design for manufacturing
  • Data Center Chiller electrical component selection and assembly implementation
  • Review electronic component datasheets and specifications to identify substitute parts.
  • Manage, manipulate, and organize large component pricing MS Excel spreadsheets.
  • Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers.
