About The Position

The Watts/Bradley Co-op Program offers students the chance to apply classroom learning to real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience and understanding business operations. Participants will work on impactful projects, develop skills, and explore career ambitions. This specific Co-Op will run from January to June 2027 and is located at our Menomonee Falls, WI facility.

Requirements

  • Student (rising sophomore or junior preferred) pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Passionate about your work, with a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully and make an impact.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and respect in interactions with others, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and do not require sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineering team with design, development, and testing of projects.
  • Perform data analysis and interpretation to support engineering decisions.
  • Create and update technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to project planning.
  • Conduct research on engineering-related topics and compile findings.
  • Use engineering software and tools to assist with modeling, simulations, and calculations.
  • Support the development and implementation of prototypes and experiments.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues.
  • Attend meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks and projects.
