About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join their Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana (IN) office. This role involves utilizing technical software to analyze, produce, and quality control client deliverables. The position requires solving complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment. The analyst will also develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and client-specific practices, procedures, and standards. Responsibilities include assisting with technical specification and report writing, and electrical equipment cost research. Project types may vary and can include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more.

Requirements

  • An ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients
  • Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment
  • Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards
  • Assist with technical specification and report writing
  • Electrical equipment cost research
