About The Position
Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Project Electrical Engineer to join their Omaha team! Projects include power distribution, lighting, arc flash studies, and electrical modeling. Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit
- Understanding of International Building Codes
- Experience with RSMeans
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design
- Coordinate electrical systems using AutoCAD and Revit (create construction documents/specifications)
- Execute quality assurance/quality control plans
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Coordinate tasks with other disciplines
- Perform supporting calculations
- Meet with clients through all phases of the project
- Travel to job sites for observation
