About The Position

KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. This position involves work that has a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting national security. The role focuses on enabling critically important communications over vast distances by innovating and overcoming technical challenges, spearheading new solutions through advanced prototyping. It is a collaborative environment with enthusiastic engineers engaged in creating the next generation of cutting-edge laser communication systems technology. Contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense and/or defense. KBR is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a specialty in analog and digital design of printed circuit boards in Lexington, MA. This role requires an Active/Current Secret clearance. Experience with Altium design tools is highly desired. KBR provides innovative and cost-effective services and solutions to national security and industry customers, leading the way for national security and commercial space integration, and developing innovative solutions to tomorrow's challenges today.

Requirements

  • Active/Current DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years applicable experience
  • Experience in analog and digital design
  • Experience using Altium tools for design
  • Good oral and communication skills
  • Outgoing and energetic with the ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to attend and participate in technical exchange meetings and test planning
  • Experience providing technical reports to management and our customer

Nice To Haves

  • Possess strong oral and written communications skills, and must be able to present findings/results to internal and external organizations
  • Willing and able to travel (up to 25%, typically CONUS)
  • Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • 6 years applicable experience

Responsibilities
