The role focuses on designing electrical schematics and control systems, supporting project execution, and ensuring accurate technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in electrical design and engineering.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
  • Experience creating electrical schematics and Bills of Material.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as NEC, IEC, and NEN1010.
  • Ability to work from Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting both shop floor and field service teams in a project environment.
  • Attention to detail in maintaining and organizing design documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple design tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated environment with international standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical schematics using AutoCAD.
  • Create power cabinet layouts and specify components.
  • Design control systems and interface with PLCs.
  • Maintain and revise the library of electrical design documents and CAD files.
  • Generate Bills of Material from electrical drawings.
  • Produce customer documentation and validation protocols as required.
  • Provide technical support to shop floor and field service personnel as part of the project team.
  • Consistently observe and promote Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements on site.
