About The Position

Seneca is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join its growing engineering team. The role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating hardware systems for autonomous aerial suppression. The Electrical Engineer will work cross-functionally with software engineers and other team members to deliver robust, reliable hardware solutions for firefighters.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5–7+ years of professional experience focused on electrical hardware design and development.
Proficiency in schematic capture and multilayer PCB design using ECAD tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or KiCad.
Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation using lab tools such as an oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and multimeter.
Skill in electrical component selection, evaluation, and BOM management.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Design experience with power electronics, motor control circuits, microcontrollers or microprocessors, and/or sensor integration.
Strong interest in or experience with robotics, automation, or complex mechatronic systems.
Experience in aviation, aerospace, or UAV industries.
Familiarity with regulatory and environmental testing standards.
