About The Position
Action Target has the creativity and drive to develop innovative new firearms training technology, the experience to properly apply that technology to solve today’s training problems, and the dedication to provide the best ongoing service and support in the industry! The Electrical Engineer role we have available is a temporary part-time role (think internship). The Electrical Engineering will help support design, development, documentation, and testing of electro-mechanical automated target systems used in commercial and law enforcement shooting facilities.
Requirements
- Enrollment in Computer/Electrical Engineering program, or equivalent from accredited school
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop system design and product documentation using CAD tools
- Perform engineering calculations
- Perform testing on Electrical/Mechanical components and recommend improvements
- Assist with inspections of equipment
- Document management and file organization
- Complete assigned work on time with instruction from the project lead
- Review and document work procedures for special projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
