About The Position

We are one of the largest producers in the world of linear motion components such as: linear guideways, ballscrews, linear motors and stages. We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our fast-paced, diverse, and safety-centric team. This role will work on real-world applications involving motors, drives, and robotics. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, solutions-oriented engineer who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems and collaborating across teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering: Equivalent degrees in Mechatronics Engineering with a concentration in Controls Engineering will be considered
2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, automation, robotics, or mechatronics
Experience with motors, servo drives, or motion control systems
Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python
Understanding of control systems, servo tuning, and motion control principles
Exposure to industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Modbus)
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, learning-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

Supporting design, testing, and integration of mechatronic systems across HIWIN Corporation’s product portfolio
Troubleshooting and optimizing electrical and motion control systems, including servo tuning and multi-axis performance
Testing and validating motors, drives, and controllers to ensure performance meets specifications
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, applications, and global engineering
Participating in system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites
