We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to serve as the generalist EE for our scanner system. This role involves integration, bring-up, debugging, and ensuring the electrical components of the device are reliable and serviceable. You will also own ultrasound experimentations that feed into the image reconstruction team. This includes designing and executing experiment setups for transducer characterization (element sensitivity, bandwidth, cross-talk mapping, beam profile measurements) and ex vivo / phantom clinical testing. You will acquire, process, and analyze RF and baseband signals for data quality assessment and benchmarking. Additionally, you will design simple boards and adapters as needed (monitoring, power/safety, interface/conditioning) and iterate them from prototype to a stable revision. The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, followed by hardening successful designs, including wiring/harnessing, grounding, safety interlocks, and reliable integration across subsystems. You will also own practical test setups and documentation (fixtures, scripts, procedures) to ensure experiments are repeatable and results are comparable over time.
