The role involves participating in requirements analysis, design, integration, and verification processes, as well as supporting technical reviews and root cause analysis. The Electrical Engineer works within defined processes and collaborates with project leaders, program managers, and external customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred, but must be obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Experience in application of electrical engineering processes, concepts, principles, and theories
  • Proficient with electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed circuit analysis/design

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical schematics, circuit boards, and system architectures
  • Perform electrical analysis including power, signal integrity, and thermal analysis
  • Support hardware development lifecycle from concept through production
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and systems engineers
  • Perform lab testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of electrical hardware
  • Support verification and validation activities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications (MIL-STD, DO-254, etc.)
  • Interface with suppliers and vendors for component selection and procurement support
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
