About The Position

Resolut Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer for its St. George, Utah office. The role involves managing projects and developing engineering design experience as part of a team under the guidance of a Principal Engineer. The engineer will work with architects, building owners, and other consulting engineers to design electrical systems for a variety of projects, including lighting, fire alarms, and power distribution. The position is with a MEPF consulting engineering firm that describes its work environment as comfortable, challenging, fast-paced, and welcoming.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 0–5 years of experience in commercial building design.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with building owners and architects and coordinate with other consulting engineering disciplines.
• Willingness and desire to be part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work with architects and other consulting engineers to develop electrical-system designs for a variety of projects, including lighting, fire alarms, and power distribution.
• Participate in and lead project design from start to finish under the supervision of a Principal Engineer.
• Complete work on time and within budget.
• Develop clear and concise written documentation.
• Contribute detailed systems design documents to support the project team.
• Coordinate with building owners, architects, and other consulting engineering disciplines, including mechanical, structural, and civil engineering.
