About The Position
Technologist Inc. is seeking Electrical Engineers to provide on-site subject matter expertise at Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role supports facility and infrastructure projects of varying scopes and costs, as well as environmental support for the base and its facilities. Responsibilities span requirements definition, programming, planning, design development, integration with existing physical infrastructure and other projects, documentation, and project and construction management. The engineer will also provide technical advice on facility and infrastructure requirements and environmental compliance of varying complexity. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits effective from the first day of employment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience developing plans, solutions, and electrical designs for facility and infrastructure projects and systems.
- Ability to pass a SECRET-level background investigation.
- Must be a United States citizen.
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman Electrician qualification, typically requiring 8,000 hours of experience.
- Three or more years of experience developing plans, solutions, and electrical designs for facility and infrastructure projects and systems.
- Demonstrable experience reading and interpreting design and construction standards.
- Demonstrable understanding of applicable OSHA standards.
- Demonstrable understanding of UFCs.
Responsibilities
- Perform requirement definition, programming, planning, and design development for facility and infrastructure projects.
- Integrate projects with existing physical infrastructure and other projects.
- Prepare project documentation.
- Provide project and construction management for facility and infrastructure projects of varying scopes and costs.
- Provide environmental support for the base and its facilities.
- Provide technical advice on facility and infrastructure requirements and environmental compliance.
