About The Position

The Electrical Engineer manages electrical capital projects and supports the facility’s electrical maintenance program. The role includes organizing downturn activities, executing preventive maintenance, and keeping electrical documentation current. The engineer also helps develop the electrical personnel team and works with operations and maintenance personnel, fellow engineers, and contractors.

Requirements

• BSEE or BSEET.
• High level of safety awareness, including knowledge of LOTOTO and ELCs, and a proven safety record.
• Knowledge of Arc Flash and NFPA 70E.
• Ability to work with operations and maintenance personnel, fellow engineers, and contractors.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis.
• Previous electrical maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with motor controls, variable frequency drives, and power distribution.
• Ability to read electrical prints.
• Experience managing projects involving electrical installations and/or upgrades.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Knowledge of electrical installation practices and high-voltage and switchgear maintenance.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Extensive PC skills across various operating systems.
• TMEIC controller and drive experience.
