Victaulic is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development of embedded controls, smart product features, and industrial electrical systems for automated machinery and tools. This is a hands-on opportunity to work across product development, controls, and cross-functional engineering teams in a global manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or 3+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • Experience in embedded systems, industrial controls, or product development environments.
  • Knowledge of circuit design, power systems, and sensor integration.
  • Familiarity with AC/DC systems, motor controls, and industrial electrical safety practices.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
  • Understanding of regulatory standards (UL, CSA, CE, EMC).
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PCB design tools and lab instrumentation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded control systems and smart product solutions for automated machinery and industrial tools.
  • Design and implement circuit architectures, control systems, and electromechanical integrations.
  • Support development of machine vision, sensor integration, diagnostics, and data-driven features.
  • Develop embedded firmware and control logic for real-time machine operation.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams on product design and implementation.
  • Maintain and update electrical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and revisions.
  • Support PLC/HMI systems, troubleshooting, and product sustaining activities.
  • Build, test, and validate prototypes and production-ready systems.
