Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in creating and revising layout drawings and electrical schematics
  • Ability to develop accurate Bills of Material for new machines and machine conversions
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as NEC, IEC, CSA, OSHA, and CE requirements
  • Adept at providing technical support for pre-shipment machine commissioning and service departments
  • Supporting the replacement of obsolete products
  • Able to function in a team-oriented environment
  • Possess knowledge of standard practices for electrical documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical software is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert electrical representation during machine specification meetings.
  • Offering vital technical support to the Electrical Service department.
  • Developing comprehensive Bills of Material that accurately reflect project needs.
  • Creating detailed panel layouts and schematic drawings.
  • Driving innovation and excellence within manufacturing processes.
  • Create / oversee creation and revision of layout drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Develop BOM for new machines and machine conversions.
  • Facilitate compliance with NEC, IEC, CSA, OSHA, and CE requirements.
  • Evaluate / revise existing electrical BOM subassemblies.
  • Create and distribute machine electrical print package.
  • Provide engineering technical support for pre-shipment machine commissioning.
  • Provide engineering technical support to service department.
  • Provide support and replacement for obsolete products.
  • Create and support appropriate process documentation.
