About The Position

Leading U.S. Engineering consulting firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer for their Milwaukee office! This role involves working on an array of projects, performing calculations, equipment selection/design, and contributing to projects across the Midwest and the country. The position also includes assisting with business development, such as project pursuits, proposals, and client relationship management, as well as mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering with an electrical focus
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience (power, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, and specification preparation for office buildings, commercial buildings, educational buildings, aviation/port buildings, municipal/county buildings, and industrial buildings)
• PE License
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes
• Knowledge of electrical construction materials/methods
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
• Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Managing multiple engineering disciplines experience
• Experience preparing fee proposals
