Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (for Mid-level)
5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience (for Senior)

Nice To Haves

Experience with upgrade and replacement of plant components and systems
Ability to lead teams on multi-discipline projects and to perform limited multi-discipline design work (eg. mechanical, electrical, structural, controls) when needed.
Experience with transformers and high voltage power electrical systems
Experience with relays, motors, and control systems
Experience with drawing reviews and revision process
Strong analytical skills for working with technical documentation
Effective collaboration with teams and clear presentation of ideas
Experience in managing design projects from concept to completion
Professional Engineer Registration
Advanced technical degree or related coursework

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.
Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision
Support engineering work functions.
Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
