Automation systems company in the Atlanta metro area needs an Electrical Controls Engineer. Using your knowledge of EPLAN (preferred but not required), you will work on the with cross-functional teams to develop control system architectures for material handling equipment and robotic applications. Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure the manufacturing of electrical cabinets adheres to NEC (NFPA70), UL508/UL508A, and other applicable industry standards. Generate documentation for subsystems including the electrical cabinets. Design and program Safety PLCs, HMIs, and/or motion control systems.
