About The Position

Bowhead seeks to network with an Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA for future or upcoming requirements. This position will require full onsite work at the Bowhead office or Navy installation. No remote opportunity for this contract.

Requirements

• A BA/S is required in Electrical Engineering.
• Ten (10) years experience in electromagnetic system design, analysis and test with U.S. Navy/Joint DE systems including pulsed power, RF, Laser, and CIED systems and components.
• Demonstrated skills to design and develop specialized electronics.
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Must be able to maintain a clearance at the Secret level.
• US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with legacy Electronic Warfare Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment for electronic warfare systems.
• Directing system engineering of electronic warfare systems.
• Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective engineering support, and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped.
• Other duties as assigned.
