About The Position

Manage and maintain Electrical/Automation/Controls Systems L1 & L2. This role involves updating controls, HMIs, OS’s, and prints, as well as troubleshooting process issues. The engineer will be responsible for PLC maintenance of code and troubleshooting, and setting up, maintaining, and configuring industrial networks. They will also work on continual improvements with Process and Controls through small and large-scale projects and collaborate closely with Level 1 and Level 2 Engineers to ensure quality and on-time work.

Requirements

• Excellent safety record
• Bachelor’s Degree: Electrical Engineering/Automation Engineer or Computer Science
• Multi-task and manage projects/maintenance outages
• Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents
• Advise and coordinate the work of electrical contractors, and employees
• Willingness to learn and train others
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Visio, AutoCad, etc.)
• Willingness to work unscheduled hours/days
• Microsoft SQL, Kepware and other Level 1 to Level 2 software

Nice To Haves

• Automation experience with the following: RSLogix, RSLinks, WinnCC, Prophecy, Factor Talk, and other types of Automation Software
• VFD setup, networking and controls (TMEIC, PowerFlex, Toshiba, SoftStarts)
• PLC experience

Responsibilities
