About The Position

As an Electrical Engineer at Roswell Marine, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and improving innovative marine products and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet customer expectations, industry standards, and manufacturing capabilities. This position is essential in driving product innovation, optimizing electrical components, and ensuring the reliability and durability of our premium product line.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven working experience as an electrical engineer
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as Solidworks
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Must be prepared to work hands-on with electrical installations, troubleshooting and support production, including but not limited to: Cutting and terminating wire harnesses, Light fabrication, Troubleshooting using Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PCB design principles and CAD software would be a plus
  • Familiarity with Audio systems signal processing/amplifiers/analog as well as digital circuits a plus
  • Familiarity with DC power systems a plus
  • Familiarity with ABYC Regulations a plus
  • Familiarity with FCC, RoHS, CE, etc. Regulations a plus

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
  • Confirm system and component capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
  • Develop electrical systems by studying design specifications; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
  • Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provide input on work/testing station setup and procedures.
  • Complete projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepare wiring diagrams for new products and product modifications.
