The Electrical Engineer is responsible under the guidance of Principal/Lead engineer for executing and coordinating electrical engineering activities for onshore power plant projects, from design development through project delivery. The role includes preparation and review of engineering deliverables, support for design integration, technical coordination with other disciplines, and resolution of engineering issues to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project execution. This position contributes to the successful delivery of plant electrical systems by ensuring sound engineering design, effective interdisciplinary collaboration, and alignment with project specifications, operational requirements, and industry standards. The role is expected to operate with a high level of technical ownership in a complex EPC or project execution environment. The role supports reliable power, microgrid, BESS integration, ERCOT interconnection, hyperscale/data center loads solutions by coordinating design requirements, technical studies, system interfaces, and execution priorities across concept, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement support, and commissioning readiness. It is expected to maintain compliance with project standards and industry codes while ensuring that electrical and control system deliverables are integrated, safe, and operationally robust. At this level, the role executes under the guidance of a Lead/Principal engineer, assigned activities, coordinates interfaces, and supports timely completion of deliverables while applying established procedures and professional judgment. The position is expected to contribute practical solutions, maintain document and data quality, and support continuous improvement through disciplined execution and active collaboration.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of electrical engineering experience in onshore power plant, EPC, , LNG, projects.
• Strong understanding of plant electrical systems, including power distribution, electrical equipment, cable systems, and system interfaces.
• Proven experience developing and reviewing core electrical engineering deliverables in project environments.
• Familiarity with multi-discipline engineering coordination and project execution workflows.
• Ability to review and integrate 2D/3D design outputs with electrical engineering requirements.
• Experience supporting technical reviews, project interfaces, and issue resolution in a fast-paced project setting.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in power generation, BESS integration, Microgrid projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical engineering deliverables for onshore plant projects, including system design documents, calculations, specifications, and material requisitions.
• Support development of key electrical deliverables such as single line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, interconnection diagrams, electrical equipment layouts, and related technical documents.
• Coordinate with layout, instrumentation, process, piping, structural, and package engineering teams to ensure integrated and technically sound design execution.
• Review vendor documents and ensure electrical equipment and package interfaces are properly incorporated into project design.
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews, interface discussions, and project technical meetings to resolve issues and optimize design.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, client requirements, and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases as required.
• Identify technical risks, engineering deviations, and interface issues, and propose effective resolutions.
• Support project schedule adherence by delivering engineering outputs in line with milestones and quality expectations.
