About The Position

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will join a specialized team focused on designing large power transformers. The role involves delivering innovative, reliable solutions and working on complex engineering challenges in collaboration with professionals across disciplines. The engineer will contribute from concept development through customer delivery, influencing performance, quality, and customer satisfaction, while also having opportunities to lead initiatives, contribute to design strategy, and drive continuous improvement. The position supports electrical design work using advanced design tools and simulations, and involves building relationships with internal teams and customers in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in electrical design; experience in the power transformer industry is ideal.
Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and engineering documentation.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently when needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AutoCAD and/or 3D design tools such as Creo.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, and evaluate complex electrical systems and transformer components.
Develop manufacturing drawings, customer documentation, and bills of materials.
Create models and simulations to solve engineering challenges.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with market and sales strategies.
Lead or support technical investigations and implement engineering solutions.
Engage with customers to resolve technical issues and strengthen relationships.
Prepare specifications, proposals, and technical reports, and support approvals.
Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
