This position plays a key role in supporting electrical power distribution, plant control systems, and SCADA operations while leading electrical engineering projects from concept through construction.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum one year of experience in electrical power system design OR PLC programming / equipment troubleshooting.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within two years.

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support and administer SCADA systems, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and system optimization.
Provide engineering support for electrical power distribution systems and plant control systems.
Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues to improve plant reliability and performance.
Design and review electrical engineering projects for plant operations and infrastructure improvements.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, specifications, and cost estimates for capital improvement projects.
Manage projects through design, construction, inspection, and completion while maintaining budgets and schedules.
Coordinate projects with internal departments, utility providers, government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Prepare technical specifications and contract documents that meet company standards and procurement requirements.
Resolve technical, construction, and customer-related issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies through continuing education and professional development.
