The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, integration, and documentation of electrical and avionics systems associated with aircraft modifications, installations, and certification programs. This role develops electrical system architectures, wiring diagrams, installation data, and supporting engineering documentation to ensure aircraft systems are integrated safely and in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. The Electrical Engineer works closely with Mechanical Engineering, Certification, Production, and external equipment vendors to ensure electrical installations are reliable, maintainable, and certifiable. Electrical engineering activities must comply with applicable regulatory standards including 14 CFR, EWIS requirements, applicable MIL standards, and industry best practices for aircraft electrical system design.
