About The Position

LyondellBasell is seeking an Entry Level Associate Electrical Engineer who is a recent graduate or about to graduate with a passion for electrical engineering and a drive to make an impact. This role offers the chance to work on real-world projects that enhance plant safety, environmental performance, and profitability. The engineer will have opportunities to optimize operations, develop new processes, or lead multidisciplinary project teams. The company offers diverse opportunities across various engineering disciplines, including Control System Engineer, Instrument & Electrical Engineering, High Voltage Engineer, Corporate Electrical Engineering, and Project Engineering.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university
Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced control schemes.
Create and refine process models for predictive control systems.
Engineer and improve process measurement instrumentation and control systems.
Provide daily technical support for I&E or control systems.
Collaborate with electrical technicians to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Evaluate and enhance the electrical system for expansion and reliability.
Offer electrical consultation for global manufacturing.
Implement standards to maintain a consistent corporate philosophy on electrical systems.
Lead large-scale electrical projects and represent the company externally.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement significant projects.
Manage all project aspects, from concept through construction.
Ensure projects meet goals, budgets, and timelines.
