In this role, you will support the design, sustainment, and enhancement of electronic products within a dynamic R&D environment. You will work on multiple sustaining engineering projects, contribute to schematic capture and prototyping activities, support compliance testing for medical devices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, manufacturable, and high-quality product solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of electrical design experience in a product development or sustaining engineering environment.
  • Experience with schematic capture tools; Altium Designer experience is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of electronic circuit design, PCB design, prototyping, and electrical test methodologies.
  • Experience supporting hardware development from design through prototype and testing phases.
  • Familiarity with compliance testing and regulatory requirements; medical device industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Altium Designer experience is strongly preferred.
  • medical device industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, update, and support electronic hardware for end-of-life (EOL) and sustaining engineering projects.
  • Develop and modify schematics using Altium Designer and associated electronic design tools.
  • Partner with third-party manufacturers to oversee prototype builds and design implementation.
  • Support multiple concurrent sustaining engineering projects while managing priorities and project deliverables.
  • Conduct design reviews, troubleshooting, and technical investigations to resolve hardware issues.
  • Coordinate and support compliance and certification testing activities for medical device products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional R&D, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure successful product delivery and lifecycle support.
