About The Position

Research, design, and develop the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems. The role involves designing and improving electrical products and systems, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating activities to ensure that work meets specifications, codes, standards, and customer requirements. Automotive electronics experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of experience, or Master of Science with 5 years of experience.
• Understand DFMEAs, DVPR&Rs, reliability requirements, quality design, and robust validation testing.
• Experience in circuit design and simulation.
• Experience performing Worst Case Circuit Analysis using Math, CAD, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of EMC circuit design robustness and testing requirements for automotive products.
• Experience as an embedded microcontroller application designer using C or C++.
• Experience with circuit thermal analysis using CAD.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and integrate OEM requirements while managing supplier and OEM expectations.
• Strong personal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive electronics experience.
• CAN and/or LIN bus programming ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
• Prepare technical drawings and electrical-system specifications, or topographical maps, to ensure installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Confer with engineers, customers, and others about existing or potential engineering projects or products.
• Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems.
• Coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
• Manage multiple projects and integrate OEM requirements while balancing supplier and OEM expectations.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
