This Engineering role can be filled at the Mid or Senior Engineer levels. Please see minimum qualifications list below for each level Expected salary range: Mid-Level - $92,700 - $114,000 Sr Level - $122,400- $154,000 Primary Purpose of Position Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering strongly preferred
  • Previous experience working in a nuclear plant
  • Experience with large electrical modifications including generators, excitors, relays
  • Relay experience is highly preferred
  • Switchyard updates
  • ETAP experience
  • Professional Engineer Registration or EIT Certification

Responsibilities

  • Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision
  • Support engineering work functions.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
