Electrical Engineer 3

ULA•Denver, CO

About The Position

This is a detailed design engineering position in United Launch Alliance’s Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) organization. The engineer supports the design of DC control systems for Vulcan launch vehicles and the Ground Electrical Instrumentation System, including data acquisition and transducer interfacing. The role focuses primarily on modernizing EGSE launch infrastructure and integrating and fielding commercial control and data acquisition solutions within the EGSE architecture. The engineer implements, maintains, and troubleshoots electrical systems, and may coordinate with procurement, logistics, testing, other engineering teams, and operations. Work includes selecting hardware; reviewing and editing engineering drawings, parts lists, test procedures, and schematics; developing statements of work; creating wire lists; and performing basic cable design and layout and harness design and modeling. The position offers opportunities to support Atlas and Vulcan launches and to develop expertise in a specific subsystem. The role is based in the Denver metro area, with travel potentially including manufacturing and launch sites.
