About The Position

This role involves developing copper product components for the structured cabling market (Category 5E/6/6A/8), performing RF simulations and validation using tools like VNA, S-parameters, and TDR. The engineer will create PCB layouts, collaborate with mechanical engineers on electromechanical designs, and architect cost-efficient designs for manufacturability. Responsibilities also include supporting product entry into manufacturing, developing intellectual property, using EM CAD methods (HFSS, Designer), and interacting with standards bodies (TIA, IEEE). The position requires designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems, supporting customer and R&D projects, and developing comprehensive test plans for systems and subsystems. A key aspect is the end-to-end validation of fiber optic assemblies for high-reliability electrical and communication systems, including leading installation and splicing. The role also involves promoting service excellence, quality, and customer satisfaction, championing company values, and supervising the Test and Measurement Engineer. The engineer will exercise appropriate judgment and comply with internal pricing guides and regulations (ISO, SOX).
