Requirements

  • System design for automation of plants & machinery
  • PLC, HMI, and other industrial-equipment programming
  • Knowledge of AC and DC Drive Systems
  • Schematic & Layout design for electrical & electronic Control Systems including VFDs using AUTOCAD Electrical and Mechanical
  • Simulation, testing, and documentation
  • Commissioning of systems
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 Years in Design & Implementation of Industrial Control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and Drives (VFDs)
  • Minimum 5-Years of Programming PLCs, HMIs, and related equipment for Industrial Control Systems.
  • Minimum 3 Years direct work experience with Schematics & Panel layouts

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of EPLAN will be plus.
  • Knowledge of C#, VB, .NET, OPC, SQL will be plus
  • Knowledge of NEC / NFPA70 / UL 508 Standards.
  • Direct experience with implementation of systems with EtherNet/IP, EtherNet TCP/IP, DeviceNET, ProfiNET,Modbus TCP/IP
  • Rockwell, GE, Siemens, & Schneider PLC Platforms experience
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
