Requirements
- System design for automation of plants & machinery
- PLC, HMI, and other industrial-equipment programming
- Knowledge of AC and DC Drive Systems
- Schematic & Layout design for electrical & electronic Control Systems including VFDs using AUTOCAD Electrical and Mechanical
- Simulation, testing, and documentation
- Commissioning of systems
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering.
- Minimum 5 Years in Design & Implementation of Industrial Control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and Drives (VFDs)
- Minimum 5-Years of Programming PLCs, HMIs, and related equipment for Industrial Control Systems.
- Minimum 3 Years direct work experience with Schematics & Panel layouts
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of EPLAN will be plus.
- Knowledge of C#, VB, .NET, OPC, SQL will be plus
- Knowledge of NEC / NFPA70 / UL 508 Standards.
- Direct experience with implementation of systems with EtherNet/IP, EtherNet TCP/IP, DeviceNET, ProfiNET,Modbus TCP/IP
- Rockwell, GE, Siemens, & Schneider PLC Platforms experience
- Master’s degree is a plus.
