About The Position

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Harness Design Engineer. In this role, you will support integration of all aspects of electrical systems; integrate source data from Vehicle Systems, Mission Systems, and Weapon Systems design teams into the entire aircraft using applicable tools to meet harness design requirements; create wire schematics and diagrams to document the harness configuration; and create Build-to-Packages for detail parts, assemblies, and installations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Experience creating electrical schematics and/or wiring diagrams
  • Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent electronic computer-aided design (CAD) tools
  • Hands-on experience with aircraft modifications
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • This position will require a government security clearance
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Nice To Haves

  • Highly desirable experience in electrical harness design and installation
  • Experience working in small teams supporting full system development lifecycle, from concept through testing
  • Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly, fabrication, and installation methods and processes
  • Experience with aircraft harness, wiring, or cable design and schematics
  • Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter, ENOVIA, or equivalent
  • Active Secret Clearance
