About The Position

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting engineers from other Lockheed Martin sites in failure investigation and troubleshooting, leading failure investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action, and providing technical disposition/recommendation for production hardware. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting engineers from other Lockheed Martin sites in failure investigation and troubleshooting, Leading failure investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action, Providing technical disposition/recommendation for production hardware, Presenting technical issues to program leadership and occasionally to SHIELD, ensuring accurate and appropriate presentations, Coordinating activities between production sites and the program to clear constraints to DD250.

Requirements

  • Experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry.
  • Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).
  • Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.
  • Ability to travel approx. 10% of time domestically.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with developing engineering estimates for proposals and reviewing suppliers’ estimates.
  • Certified or working knowledge of Control Account Management (CAM)
  • Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during failure investigation
  • Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification
  • Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting.
  • Experience working non-conformance disposition of hardware for production.
  • Prior experience of PAC-3 program, Production processes, Failure Investigation, Root Cause and Corrective Actions
  • Active DoD Secret
