Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a closely related field
  • Six (6) months experience
  • Only US Persons (citizens or permanent residents) need apply

Responsibilities

  • Carry out test activities according to the Test and Commissioning process.
  • Conduct troubleshooting of systems and equipment to identify root cause of failures and integration issues, and identify/define containment and sustainable solution.
  • Report all test and field work, as well as record failures and NCR in the RTC database.
  • Work with test related documentation, such as control plan for testing, test instructions and test records etc.
  • Perform test activities and fill in test records.
  • Conduct troubleshooting during test and commissioning phases.
  • Meet scheduled requirements on own initiative and report when schedules are not achievable.
  • Store and consolidate the test sheets in formal Test Reports.
  • Follow and track the document lifecycle up to the date it was published in PDM.
  • Report NCR to the project team through the RTC IBM database.
  • Record detected faults and report any defects or deviations from the specification.
  • Record inspection/test results and test configuration.
  • Utilize engineering drawings, bill of material and technical specifications.
  • Use knowledge of wayside systems such as PDS, CCTV, SCADA, Radio and Network.
